If you ever have a covered problem with your furniture,these plans will supply you with a certified in-home technician. If the problem can’t be fixed, the merchandise will be replaced, if the merchandise has been discontinued, you get to pick out new furniture. The Maximum Protection Plans cover Mechanical & Structural Breakdowns as a result of:
- Breakage of frames or springs
- Breakage of panels
- Breakage of mechanisms; recliners, sleepers, heating elements, massage components.
- Failure of electrical components
- Lifting of veneers
- Warping
- Loss of silvering on mirrors
The Maximum Protection Plans also cover Unintentional and Accidental Damages such as:
- Dye transfer onto surface of upholstery
- Punctures
- Liquid marks, rings or household heat marks
- Gouges, dents, scratches, or chips that penetrate the finish
- Nail Polish Remover
- Checking, cracking, bubbling, peeling of finish
- Glass or mirror chipping, breakage, or scratches

Protection 1stMost manufacturers warranty their products for 1 year. Many of our products go beyond that industry standard and offer warranties up to a lifetime depending on the specific item components. Your customer care specialist can help you understand what each brand of furniture supplies for a warranty. Only the manufacturer’s warranty applies to furniture and mattresses, and Harry’s can only do repairs to the manufacturer specifications using factory supplied materials for the applicable warranty period. Most manufacturers will include 1 year of free labor on their products if a service problem occurs.Protection 1st offers coverage for a 5 year period, so if a covered event occurs in that time period outside of the manufacturer’s warranty, then the labor to fix the problem, as well as any charge for the parts will be covered.
